The Meeting House Cooperative Preschool

The Meeting House Cooperative Preschool (MHCP) provides an exceptional developmentally appropriate education for preschoolers from the Northern Virginia area. During the 2011-2012 school year, MHCP is serving 65 families and 74 children. Approximately 1/3 of these families are OPMH members. Beginning in September, seventy four children attended MHCP. The breakdown of individual classes is as follows: nine in the 2 day 2s; 10 in the 3 day 2s; 10 in the 2 day 3s; 10 in the 3 day 3s; 10 in the 5 day 3s; 25 in the two 4/5s classes. In addition, the school offers an Extended Day Program for the 12-13 oldest children four days a week from 12-12:30. The year begins in mid-September and concludes at the end of May and the hours are 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
