Here are a few of the groups that meet regularly. Current meeting times and places are listed in the pew bulletins on Sundays. Contact the person listed -- or the church office -- for more information.  Members and visitors are welcome to participate in these fellowship groups.

NEW GROUP! Club 3-4-5  Club 3-4-5 is a new fellowship group for children in grades 3, 4 and 5. For more information, contact Margaret Rizzi or Allyson Hazzard.

20-30s is a group of OPMH members and visitors, both married and single, who fall within the 20-39 age range. Current activities include Tuesday night dessert and discussion at the home of one of the members and brunch on the first Sunday of each month.

Celebration!   (Married Couples) brings couples together for fellowship activities, educational opportunities, and communication workshops.

SPIRIT   (Ages 55+) meets for lunches at church and trips to area attractions and exhibits.

Knitting Ministry meets the third Wednesday of each month from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m to work on knitting and craft projects to benefit church members and mission projects.

Women’s Circles Three circles meet monthly for fellowship and study.

• Circle #4 meets at the Meeting House from 10:00 a.m. to noon on the second Thursday of each month.

• Circle #5 meets on the third Tuesday evening of the month in a member’s home.

Women's Prayer Group   

• The morning prayer group meets every two or three weeks in the homes of its members.

Thursday Morning Men’s Bible Study meets Thursday mornings (except first Thursday) at 7:30 am in the Elliot House library for small-group Bible study.

Dine with Nine

Meeting House Mom's Group The Moms’ Group is open to mothers of children of all ages. The group meets generally once a month, on the third Saturday, in Heritage Hall at 10:00 am. Additional family events are hosted from time to time. The group offers support, fellowship, sharing and mutual encouragement. Programs are planned to meet the needs and interests of mothers of young children.

College Group  When our college students are home from college, we meet up for lunch over the Thanksgiving break, have an annual white elephant party just before Christmas, and have several get-togethers over the summer months.

Our college students are also invited to attend several retreats and work camp trips. Over the New Year’s break, college students attend the college conference at Montreat. They are always welcome to join the group to go to Montreat over the summer as part of the work crew. College students are welcome to be part of any of the OPMH work camp trips, and especially are encouraged to join the group going to Mexico in late July. If you are between the age of 18 and 23 and are in town for an extended period of time, please contact Alice Tewell.
