Meeting House Worshipers: Hear Ye, Hear Ye! This Sunday: Worship Services (8:30 & 11:00 am): Preaching at 8:30 & 11:00 am Passing of the Peace: Empty Gesture or Sign of the Kingdom? Dr. Laha Ephesians 2: 11-22 John 20: 19-29 Christian Education classes for all ages are from 9:40-10:40am.Children in grades 1-5 should meet in Heaven (the top floor of the education building) from 9:30-9:50 a.m. each Sunday to sing with Martha Beall and Julie Jernigan. Sunday: Coffee Hour – Instead of coffee hour all are invited to join us in the churchyard following the 11:00 am worship for the Mission Fair. Today - Come to the Fair! Today we will celebrate Worldwide Communion Sunday and enjoy a not-to-be-missed festive Mission Fair in the church yard. Sunday 9:40 am in Westminster Hall (Flounder House): The Old Testament from Scratch Come join us for a stimulating introduction to the Old Testament. Facilitators: Lee Posey, Tom Roberts, Hal Collums. Sunday School workshop rotation now includes music so that all children may participate. Children in grades 1-5 should meet in Heaven (the top floor of the education building) from 9:30-9:50 a.m. each Sunday to sing with Martha Beall and Julie Jernigan. Children ages 3-6 years will continue to meet with Ms. Sally in Room 22 of the education building. Series Offering begins Today – This Sunday begins a three-week series, Lessons from the Church Around the World. Leading off the series will be Larry Golemon and Joyce Mercer talking about the church in the Philippines. This afternoon we will be Raising our VOICE! The Meeting House is committed to bringing 50 people to the public launch of Virginians Organized for Interfaith Community Engagement. Join us this afternoon, from 4:30-7:00 pm at First Mt Zion Baptist church 16622 Dumfries Rd. Dumfries, VA..
