please plan to attend our Inquirer’s Classes. It will be held at 8:30 am this

Lemonade on the Lawn is hosted by the Local Mission
Ministry. Please join us for fellowship in the churchyard behind the sanctuary
following the 10:00 am worship service.
Opportunities to Give or Serve:
“Last Call” Youth Service Week: It’s not too late to sign up. Service week is August 25-29. It’s
open to all youth, grades 6-12 and will include several service projects and
fun outings. Activies will be scheduled in the afternoon so as to not conflict

Also, we need several
volunteers who know their way around a sewing machine who can assist us with this project during the

Upcoming Events / Church News:
Newly Elected -General Assembly Moderator: Rev. Bruce Reyes-Chow
Rev. Bruce Reyes-Chow, Moderator of the 218th General Assembly,
is coming to National Capital Presbytery! On Saturday, August 23, from 10:00 am
– noon, the Rev. Reyes-Chow will lead an informal forum open to everone in the
Presbytery. The forum will be held at the First Presbyterian Church 601 N.
Vermont Street, Arlington, VA.
The Facilities Ministry is hosting two work days to help get OPMH ready for the new church year. On
Saturday, August 23, we will have projuects to spruce-up buildings and grounds
and on Saturday, September 6, we will get the Education Building ready for
Rally Day. Times for both days are 8 am to noon. All are welcome and no special
