ANNUAL MEETING OF THE CONGREGATION
THE OLD PRESBYTERIAN MEETING HOUSE
March 9, 2008
The annual meeting of the Congregation was called to order with prayer by the Moderator, the Rev. Dr. Robert R. Laha, Jr., in the Sanctuary at 12:05 p.m. on March 9, 2008, following the 11:00 a.m. worship service. In the absence of the Clerk, Elder Robert C. Dunn, having been elected by the Session as Acting Clerk, acted as Secretary of the Meeting. The Secretary noted that a quorum (a quorum being 104 members) was present. The Secretary certified that proper notice of the meeting had been given; the purpose of the meeting was to approve the terms of call for the two pastors.
The Moderator introduced Elder Ed Cassidy, chairman of the Personnel Committee. The clergy then departed the meeting. Ushers distributed an informational sheet enumerating the operating budget for 2008 as approved unanimously by the Session. The sheet also contained a breakdown of the terms of call for each of the pastors and provided last year’s terms for comparison.
Elder Cassidy briefly summarized the terms in the context of the overall budget.
He then moved the adoption of the following terms of call for Associate Pastor Ann Herlin for the fiscal year 2008, beginning February 2008 through January 2009:

The motion was seconded. Following a brief discussion, the motion was approved unanimously.
Elder Cassidy then moved the adoption of the following proposed terms of call for the Senior Pastor, the Rev. Dr. Robert R. Laha, Jr., for the fiscal year 2008 through January 2009:
