Palm and Passion Sunday This Sunday: Worship Services (8:30 and 11:00 am) Sermon A Confluence of Ideas — Dr. Laha Christian Education for all ages from 9:40 – 10:40am. For Children and Youth: Our elementary children continue a series of workshops learning about the events of Easter, led by the youth of our middle school Sunday school class. The high school class meets in the Youth Room (top floor of Flounder House). For Adults · Bible Study: The Gospel of Matthew, Westminster Hall. · Signs, Signs, Everywhere the Signs: the OPMH Word Players will present these readings of Scripture, poetry and prose to explore the meaning and implication of a particular word. Their “performance” will be followed by a small group exercise which will focus on discussion of some specific Scripture passages. Join us in this creative encounter.in Heritage Hall. · Presbyterian 101 -- for anyone who has ever felt tongue-tied when asked “what do Presbyterians believe?” or just wants a better basic understanding of the particular tradition in which we stand. March 16, and 30 in Fellowship Hall. Sunday Evening Youth: Meet from 5 to 7 pm this Sunday night for bowling at US Bowling (100 S. Pickett Street). One option is Belmont, the former residence of American figure painter Gari Melchers. The second option is the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park. Lunch will follow at Brock’s Riverside Grill, overlooking the Rappahannock River in Old Town Fredericksburg.
