CALLED MEETING OF SESSION
OLD PRESBYTERIAN MEETING HOUSE
October 14, 2007
The meeting was called to order with prayer by the Rev. Ann Herlin in the Elliot House Parlor at 10:36 am. The purpose of the meeting was to receive new members. Rev. Herlin noted that a quorum for purposes of receiving new members was present. Also present was the Moderator, the Rev. Dr. Robert R. Laha.
Roll was taken:
MEMBERS OF SESSION PRESENT: David Anderson, Cynthia Douglass, Jeffrey Lenn and Cary Pugh.
MEMBERS OF SESSION EXCUSED: C. L. Bearman, Rebecca Bostick, Ed Cassidy, Dona DeLeon, Lee Dorman, Tom Downey, Douglas Feaver, Denise Ferguson, James Foley, Christine Heiby, Peggy Jeens, Eric Johnson, Richard Johnson, Kem Toole Johnson, Carole Kordich, Joseph McCoy, Robert Neitz, Lawrence Rood and Beth Sanderson.
MEMBERS OF SESSION ABSENT: None
OTHERS PRESENT: Peggy Newman
Rev. Herlin introduced the prospective new member. It was then moved, seconded and approved unanimously to receive the following person as member:

James R. (“Jim”) Newman from Pilgrim UCC, Maryland
Elders present introduced themselves to the new member. The meeting adjourned with prayer by Rev. Herlin at 10:45 a.m.
