Children’s Education – The children continue the rotation this Sunday, The Fruit of the Spirit. Check the sign on the first floor to guide children to their classroom.

Vacation Bible School – Registration forms are now available in the narthex, the church office, the Education Building, and our church website. Come on, take the plunge and make a splash with Jesus!

Flounder House (1B) – Bible Study of Philippians: Joy Under Stress continues through April 29.

Tuesday Night Bible Study: Study the Letter to the Galations on Tuesday Evenings at 7:30 in Flounder 1b.

Fellowship, Study, and Prayer Groups:Youth: Adults are needed to chaperone youth conferences or the youth cannot go! This is a life changing experience for both youth and adults. 20s/30s: All in this age group are welcome to join us for the Monday night dinner and discussion (except 2nd Mondays), First Sunday Brunch, and other occasional social events. First Sundays with the Stephen Ministers: An informal time of fellowship following the 11:00 am service (the first Sunday of each month) in the Elliot House Parlor. We welcome all who are experiencing loss or struggling to find joy in their lives to meet, one-on-one, with a Stephen Minister. Call Susan Grandy (703.836.6701) if you have questions.

Celebration! The final event of the season, the Grand Spring Fling Potluck Supper, will occur on May 19 at 6:00 pm in the home of Larry and Jean Rood. Please call or email Jean to let her know what you will be bringing not later than May 16th. Soft drinks will be provided.

Spirit Luncheon: May 9 at 11:30 am in Heritage Hall. The guest speaker will be Mindy Facenda on the topic of Life Screening. Please make your reservations by May 7. The cost is $10.00.

Presbyterian Homes and Family Services Dinner: The congregation is invited to a dinner in Heritage Hall at 6:30 pm on May 10. OPMH’s Richard Wong and former T.C. Williams High School principal, John L. Porter, are the hosts. The complimentary dinner is catered by Nickells and Scheffler.  Music:

Concert With A Cause: This Sunday, at 4 pm. Singing for Peace: World children’s Choir. This is a professional vocal ensemble that has sung at the White House, the Kennedy Center and dignitaries through the world. Proceeds benefit the United Orphanage and Academy in Moi’s Bridge, Kenya.
