First Sundays with the Stephen Ministers: An informal time of fellowship following the 11:00 am service (the first Sunday of each month) in the Elliot House Parlor. Mission

One Great Hour of Sharing: Fish banks will be collected this Sunday. The envelope sets also include a designated offering envelope for this purpose. The offering is to be shared by the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, Presbyterian Hunger, and Self Development of People programs.

Rebuilding Together: On Sat., April 28th, the Meeting House will join with other groups all around Alexandria for a “blitz” day of home repairs for low-income, elderly, and disabled homeowners. The Meeting House will be responsible for a single house, so we need lots of volunteers (both skilled and unskilled). Music:

Concert With A Cause: Sunday, May 6 at 4 pm. Singing for Peace: World children’s Choir. This is a professional vocal ensemble that has sung at the White House, the Kennedy Center and dignitaries through the world. Proceeds benefit the United Orphanage and Academy in Moi’s Bridge, Kenya.

Easter Sunday: Christ is Risen!

Church Work Day: The Facilities Committee invites you to a workday at the church on Saturday April 14th from 8 am to 12 noon. We will be sprucing up the grounds and Sanctuary in preparation for the Alexandria Historic Garden Tour that will take place on April 21st. All are welcome.
