It offers bilingual and multicultural pediatric, nursing, and support staff who provide primary and preventative health care services and routine illness care to more than 2,800 women and children. The center also provides family support, parenting education, and counseling services. The Meeting House provides direct financial assistance and OPMH play a major role in its annual fundraiser, Cinco de Mayo. A Meeting House Concert with a Cause benefited Arlandria Health Clinic last year. The Meeting House supports the following additional missions related to poverty and hunger. - ARC of Northern Virginia provides advocacy services and individual and family support for persons with mental retardation and related disabilities. The Meeting House provides direct financial support to the program.
- Northern Virginia AIDS Ministry (NOVAM) educates the community about HIV/AIDS issues and provides direct services to those living with and/or touched by this epidemic disease. The Meeting House provides direct financial support to NOVAM educational programs. In the past OPMH capital mission funds helped to purchase a van that has provided more than 13,000 rides to medical and other appointments. OPMH has also supported its Access Advocacy Program and has been active in co-hosting an interfaith dinner in conjunction with the annual NOVAM fundraiser, "Imagine."
- Queen Street Clinic provides health services to Alexandria's medically uninsured. The Meeting House receives the clinic's recommendations for patient emergency assistance through its Family-to-Family fund, thus providing substantial healthcare funding.
